Hello and welcome to My Hygge Shop — a cosy little corner inspired by the Danish art of hygge (pronounced hoo-ga), where life slows down and simple moments are celebrated.
My name is Csilla T.B., and I’m the heart behind the shop. I'm a full-time mum who, in the quieter moments of family life, finds joy in creating minimalistic, thoughtful designs that bring comfort and calm into everyday living.
I’ve always had a deep love for design. In fact, I once dreamed of becoming an interior designer — but life took me in a different direction, and I ended up completing medical university and training as a physiotherapist. Still, life has a funny way of working things out. In the end, I found my way back to creativity and design — and now, I get to work with the kind of design I love most: clean, calm, and unmistakably Scandi.
I’ve always had a knack for finding the perfect gift. For years, friends and family would ask me to choose presents for Christmas and birthdays — and I loved every second of it. It felt natural to turn that passion into something more. And so, in 2019, My Hygge Shop was born.

Since embracing Nordic-inspired living and the hygge way of life, I’ve become passionate about sustainability and the small details that make a house a home. For me, it’s not just about the product — it’s about the meaning behind it.
